Welcome to Tucker Peak Lodge in historic Julian, California. Take a moment to take a deep breath; you made it through the back country roads, and it’s time to rest and relax. We strive to give you the best experience of the Julian countryside. We have 6 boutique rooms, a living room, self-hosted kitchen, and a breathtaking deck overlooking acres and acres of San Diego’s Golden countryside.
We hope you enjoy our complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, microwave popcorn and instant oatmeal. You may store your food in your mini fridge in your room, or store it in the kitchen fridge. Each room has a smart TV and complimentary rural WiFi.
The Living Room offers a quaint place to hangout and a place to play billiards or board games, solve puzzles, or sit by the window to read a book while sipping your coffee.
Hours of use are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Pets are allowed in certain rooms (Rosewood, Tranquility, and Mountain View) with a $45 pet cleaning fee. Please contact us prior to arrival so that we can place you in an appropriate room.
Parking at Lodge: Is located up a mountain driveway where there a seven parking spaces, please choose any available spot. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage to the parked car or its contents for any cause whatsoever, including theft or pilferage.
Check-in: Starts at 4:00 pm. Please contact on-site manager in order to request an early check-in. Early check ins are available on a limited basis for $35. All room keys are located in the main lodge on the left wall at the entrance. Once checked in, the on-site manager will guide you to your room.
Check Out: Ends at 11:00 am. Please return your key to the Living Room wall and you are all set to go. This will allow the cleaning crew to know the room is available for cleanup. Please contact us in order to request a late check out. When available, late check out up to 1:00 pm is available for $45.
Fireplaces: Complimentary firewood and starter is available for our three rooms with wood burning fireplaces. In case you need assistance, please call or text us. DO NOT place ash buckets on the carpet. Guests are responsible for their safety and kids safety. Pre-lighting service is available upon request. Please note fires are not permitted during the summer months or during high wind times to help prevent wild fires.
Complimentary Rentals: Heaters, Iron, and Ironing Board are available upon request.
Personal Belongings: The management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss and / or damage to the guest’s belongings for any cause including theft or pilferage.
Strictly Prohibited: Self-supplied grills, outdoor fires, firearms, fireworks, feeding wildlife and littering. Smoking in the rooms, bathrooms, living room, and kitchen is also strictly prohibited.
Seasonal Pets: Ants and bugs may show their presence during the Spring and Summer months. Please contact us if it arises during your stay.
Smile you are on camera. For your safety, exterior area and interior common area are under video surveillance.
Please do not lock any doors in the lodge besides your room door, as other guests need access to the lodge.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least three days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Reservations cancelled within 3 days of arrival will be charged in full.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
Any damage to the room or property will be charged to guest card on file.
